Safety Lock and Position Retention in Pneumatic Systems
The VO Series pneumatic blocking valves (also known as pilot-operated lock valves, holding valves, or safety stop valves) are critical safety components designed to instantly freeze and hold a cylinder’s position in the event of an unexpected pressure drop or main air line failure.
Mounted directly onto the actuator supply ports, they operate transparently during normal duty cycles, intervening instantly only during emergencies or pilot line pressure loss.
